He was assassinated on March 15, 44BC (the Ides of March) by a small group of conspiring Senators fearful of his rising power and potential autocracy. This is a Deluxe Replica of Julius Caesar's sword. The handle and scabbard are engraved and embossed in simulated silver finish with classic Roman designs.
