This hand forged katana was made using the Japanese Maru Technique. The blade is CS1045 carbon steel with a blood groove (also known as a fuller) that runs the entire length. The blade is also hand sharpened. The tsuba features a Dragon design. The wooden black lacquered saya features a brass inlaid dragon and is wrapped with Japanese cotton sageo.
No edged weapon in history has ever been surrounded with such Mystique and tradition like the Japanese sword.
