Suits of Armor

Suits of armor, commonly known as Gothic plate armor, are made of steel plates covering the individual from head to foot. This is where the term “knight in shining armor” was taken from for it covers and protects an individual all around. Although it gives an overall protection to its user, suits of armor has some major drawbacks to consider. One if this is its heavy weight which makes the individual slow to move in the battlefield and therefore restricts his natural reflex. Initially, these suits of armor were made from several chunks of steel plates but soon evolved to give the individual more flexibility in combat and therefore, more freedom to move about. Although these suits of armor can only be found in museums nowadays, we at DungeonKnight have taken the liberty to produce some fine replicas which imitate the real thing although in much lighter versions.
