Armor is typically described as protective metal covering used to prevent damage caused by direct contact from weapons during combat. Armors played a huge role during the Dark Ages and the soldiers of this era wore a variety of armor to protect themselves from the weapons of the enemy. A good armor during those times was usually very heavy which reduces the wielder's speed and flexibility. But this did not stop the soldiers from using them as they were usually very effective against enemy soldiers and their primary weapons.
There have been many variations of armors encompassing different countries and cultures. DungeonKnight is proud to present some of the more notable armors in history starting with the Greek and their well-sculpted body armors. Then there is the medieval armor which was common during the time of King Arthur; the Roman armor famously worn by the Centurions for centuries; the Samurai armor which portrays honor and nobility; and the chain mail armor which are commonly seen in history books and in movies as worn by the Templar Knights.
